‘Jazzing Up’ the Naked Turtle

Since husband and wife team Dee Livingstone and Patrick Fogarty took over ownership in March 2009, The Naked Turtle has undergone a beautiful refurbishment. Historically renowned for its expert singing waitresses, this West London eatery comprises elegant and relaxed surroundings with a hint of speakeasy cool.

The owners wanted a selection of images to reflect both the live jazz, whilst people dine, and the cocktail bar, where people can sit and sup whilst waiting to be seated.

Our photographer’s talent in using such an atmospheric venue produced a moody selection of images of jazz singers at the piano, which adorn the walls. Combined with a selection of musical themed images in monochrome, from our gallery, and specially shot images of cocktail spirits with a ‘musical’ twist, the owners felt we had created images in just the right style for their new venue.
